Drum type knowledge:
The split-sleeve consists of a pair of outer shells that are bolted or welded onto the smooth drum of the windlass winch. It has two line and spiral groove in one road ,so the rope can fall in the uniform groove in the movement .That can prevent rope inter-twist problem to make the rope on -off the drum smoothly.
